Military To Liberate Sambisa Forest Before May 29 – Dasuki

The National Security Adviser in Nigeria (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), has expressed optimism that the military would reclaim Sambisa Forest from the Boko Haram terrorist group before the May 29 presidential transition date.

Colonel Dasuki’s comment is coming on the first year anniversary of the abduction of over 200 secondary school girls from Government Girls Secondary School Chibok, in Borno State.

The schoolgirls were abducted by members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

He also told reporters on Tuesday that the Federal Government was making every effort to ensure that the girls along with every other Nigerian abducted by terrorists are rescued.
